2000s: Everyone’s flipping homes. Interest rates can’t stay this low forever. I have no handyman skills or time to fix up a property. Better buy a few homes anyway.
2018: The Mega Millions jackpot is $1.6 billion. The odds of winning are astronomically bad. It’s like lighting money on fire. Better buy some tix anyway.
Who are the people doing these things? They must be crazy…or are they?
